Statistics NZ Opens its Data, Hurrah!!!!

The Free Our Data blog asks why Statistics NZ opened its data, This blog may have a hint. It was possibly due to Hans Rosling at Govis 2007.

This is great news, the availability of this data will enable many more innovative uses this information about ourselves, and also enable international mashups like the ones that Hans Rosling does with Gapminder.org.
